Melanie Kaye Patton is the heartfelt creator and voice behind Cuisines Art Journeys, a personal passion project she launched as a joyful outlet for her lifelong love of making. After taking several art classes in college that deepened her appreciation for creative expression, Melanie began designing and sharing original works that span paper arts, floral design, handmade jewelry, collage, card making, watercolor painting, and both general and Bible journaling.

 

Since joining the platform in 2021, she has consistently posted detailed tutorials and process photos, always with the goal of sparking joy in others—especially across generations of friends and family.

Her work is characterized by thoughtful, hands-on projects that celebrate beauty, remembrance, and everyday inspiration. From silk-flower military remembrance wreaths and seasonal floral arrangements to delicate watercolor cards, scrapbook layouts, and elegant jewelry pieces, Melanie approaches each creation with care and generosity. She loves documenting her process and sharing supplies lists so that readers can easily try the projects themselves, often noting the smiles and sense of accomplishment that come when “the art flows.”
